Hi:
I.'m doing 'Hard Drive Test,' found by typing 'Hard Drive'
on 'Help and Support.'

It was running smoothly until 70 - 80%, but still keep
running even already one hour went on. It should be done
within 30-45 minutes, as I was believing.

Wonder whether the computer/hard drive is something wrong, that
is causing this, 'hang' on diagnosytic Progress?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm really not sure where you're getting this hard drive test from. The
best way to test a hard drive is with a diagnostic utility downloaded
from the drive mftr.'s website. Make a bootable floppy/cd with it, boot
with it, and do a thorough test.

Hi:
Thanks for your response.

My computer is HP Pavillion, then I tested by 'HP PC Doctor'
as you suggested.

There was perfectly OK without any errors.

The reason why I posted here was that I got 'error/warning' message
by using PC Doctor purchased over the Internet. Afterwards, I did
defrag , error check and lastly by XP Hard Drive Test.

It's such a BIG relief, as knowing the computer is in good shape without
any error at all.

I truly appreciate your suggestion on this regard.
