Why don't windows applications on vista work with my iMac's sound and
graphics card?
What video/graphics and sound card do you recomend for an iMac with leapord
and vista installed on it (partitioned)?
Or what software works without any video card and sound card problems to
integrate vista on a mac?
Dan

Are you running Vista natively using the Boot Camp setup or in Parallels or
some other virtualization solution?

If via Boot Camp you should ask in an Apple.com user forum for Windows about
the Apple Windows drivers that come on the Leopard dvd. If you have not yet
installed those, boot into Vista and insert the Leopard dvd. The drivers
installers should autostart.

Under Bootcamp, the process creates a Windows driver CD for you which you
need to run under windows the first time this statrs.

I am not sure if I understand your answer. I have the same problemthan they
other guy. My Imac with Windows XP and OS Tiger everything was going well. My
son decided to install Vista Integral version ( error or Horror) and OS
Leopard. Since that time I lost my sound on my Imac when I work with Windows
.. I did all the necessary upgrade without any success. Please help me.......

Is Leopard running on your iMac now? What edition of Vista is installed in
the Windows partition?

Bootcamp 2.0 that comes with Leopard does NOT create a cd with drivers for
Windows. The Leopard dvd itself contains the drivers for XP and Vista x86
and the drivers are installed by simply inserting the Leopard dvd while
Windows is running. If your son installed the 64bit version of Vista,
however, I can see your problem. The Windows drivers on the Leopard dvd are
only for the 32bit version of XP and Vista.

You can delete the Vista installation and reclaim the partition used for it
by simply running the Boot Camp assistant (in OS/X) and selecting "remove
Windows" (or similar wording).
