why dont i have powerpoint with office xp small business?

Just got a new computer, and used friend's Microsoft Office XP Small
Business, version 2002 to get Word, etc. There was no mention of PowerPoint
being installed. Isnt this normally part of the CD? Is there any other way
to get PowerPoint besides buying the student edition? I need to view
powerpoint presentations for class, and need to print them out, so the viewer
alone is not the solution. Don't need to make them, at least not yet
 
PowerPoint is not part of Office XP SBE (Small Business Edition).

"Used friend's" sure sounds as if you have an illegal copy anyway.

You can use the PPT 2003 Upgrade to add PPT to XP SBE.

" That is against the EULA. I suggest that you buy the product or download
OpenOffice. It's free and accomplished the same thing. Files are
interchangeable with MS Office programs... Try it and be legal.

The viewer allows you to print presentations.
 
pretty sure it's legal if it had never been opened or used until i used it.
the point i was trying to make was that it was not a new version and i was
not familiar with it. I do realize that i should have worded it differently.
