Why don't colored scroll bars display correctly in Mozilla?

Is that something Mozilla just can't do? Is there something in the
settings I overlooked? A plug-in I need? Not a big deal really I just
like the fancy scroll bars.
 
Loading InsertNameHere from address (e-mail address removed) into alt.comp.freeware...

Nothing. Mozilla can't display them.

There is no W3C standard for "colored scroll bars", what you use is an MS-
only setting.

You'll have to study how XUL works, but using XUL/XBL it's possible to
redefine the looks of _everything_ visible in Mozilla/Gecko, if you want.

If you want a simple solution like there is now in IE: there isn't one at
the moment, but it should be possible to create e.g. a Firefox extension to
add this.

I think most Phoenix customization tips still work with Firefox. These
look simple enough.
