I performed an in place "upgrade" to resolve the "msgina.dll" problem and it did resolve the problem. After successful upgrade I tried to open AD and there is a "Red" next to it. I cannot connect to the "Domain" I get messasges that it does not exist or cannot be contacted" and "Unable to browse this Domain: The interface is unknown". I am anle to connect to the DC and can see all the OUs and Users/computers etc. but no one can log in becasue the message displays "No Domain server is available .........."

you will probably have to remove it from the domain and re-add it.

I can't help but think you were a bit careless with your domain there. What
were you upgrading? What msgina problem are you talking about? Asking
for help on this NG to restore your domain after providing such vague
information is quite ridiculous! Did you back up the dc's system state
first? If yes, you may be able to do an authoritative restore. There are a
few KB articles that explain the process. Any help beyond that and you
would probably need to pay someone like me good money to bail you out. Good
luck, sounds like you're gonna need it.
