I have assigned a BMP file that I created as the background for my Win
2k Pro desktop. When I reboot I am back to the blue desktop. If I
right click the desktop and choose Properties my BMP is displayed in
the window on the Background page but to make it appear I must select
a different background then select my BMP file then click Apply.
Why doesn't my BMP show when I restart Windows?
By the way, the bitmap file is stored in a subdirectory of My
Pictures.
