wordart, autoshapes etc are vml and work only when viewed with IE, or are rendered in low res/low quality replacement images in some other browsers (gif's i think)...don't use word art.

I't fine to use the word art, as long as you don't use it in reference to
reality television shows.

So,
I see others are (were) having the same problem (wordart will not show up).
How can a hardware geek like myself, put the wordart image(or an equilevent)
into my website that was created by FrontPage 2003? People using Fire fox can
see the wordArt, but not with IE 6!

Thanks in advance!

Usually it's the other way around - only Internet Explorer will show
WordArt - other browsers will show either 1) nothing at all or 2) low
quality GIF representation of the image.

I too am having this problem. I use IE, and the last website I had, WordArt
worked great, but for some reason when I redid our site it didn't work. Has
anyone resolved this problem yet?

Can you provide a URL to page where you do not see the WordArt?

Shows in IE7, and as a horrible looking thing in FireFox.

The image is far too big for my browsers (I use 800x600 windows)
and will be too big for the majority of users - not many have 1280px wide
screens.

ditto on the page size. Find a jpg or gif replacement for the vml. Think
about the many different conditions your page may be viewed in including
different OS, browser, and screen resolution. All of these are out of
your control once your page hits the net. You need to keep the doors
open for everyone :)
