Front Page 2000 keeps crashing and the error report says an update exists
that will fix the problem. When I follow the links to the update site it
asks me to download updates that have nothing to do with Front Page. During
the installation process after the download I am prompted to insert A disk
from Office 2000 Professional. However, my system only has Office 2000
Standard installed, and the update is terminated and Front PAge 2000 still
wont work. Does anyone have any Ideas?

What update are being requested?

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Have you tried just using the FrontPage disc when it asks for Office 2000
Professional? I can't remember correctly, but Office 2000 Professional may
have been one of the few Office bundles that actually included FrontPage in
it as part of the package. All Office products share a lot of common files,
so chances are it's these files that are messing up with FP and not the core
FP dll's themselves.

Hope this helps,
