Only partial messages appear in the Reading Pane. If I want to see the whole
message, I need to click the bottom.

Check your download settings to download the full message during
send/receive;
Tools-> Options-> tab mail Setup-> button Send/Receive...-> Edit...-> select
your account and in the right bottom select to Download complete item
including attachments

profile for me. That worked, but I would still like to know what caused this
and why it was happening. I tried your direction, Roady, and found that my
"Download complete item including attachments" was already checked and yet
I'm still having to download the rest of the message. Any other suggestions?
