I have a web page with paragraphs set in FP2003 to font size 3 (12pt) and
other paragraphs set to 2(10pt), yet they appear significantly larger in IE
6.0 (1024 x 768).

Why is that?

More importantly, how can I get FP2003 to make them appear the same size in
both the Design mode of FP2003 and in IE 6.0?

I shall greatly appreciate your help on this.

Using a print metric for text size on the web can lead to all kinds of
variation between browsers. I don't use points to size my text. I use
pixels, ems, ens, exs, percents, or font size names (large, medium,
small...)

Check in IE what you have set with VIEW | Text Size. It's likely that by
adjusting that you can make the two appear closely similar. Remember that
others will have the same ability when viewing your pages....
