Why does Powerpoint fail to show slideshow mode

Pretty hard to guess what your seeing on your computer screen. A little more
information as to the version of PowerPoint your using along with any error
messages your receiving.

As Michael said, a little more information will go a long way to solving
your problem.

Now you probably did not know that I used to be a historical psychic in a
past life time, so I'm going to take a shot in the dark about why you are
not seeing the presentation slideshow.

I'm guessing that you are using a laptop. I'm further guessing that if open
PowerPoint and click on 'Slide Show' (menu bar) and select 'Set-up
Slideshow...', you will see a dialog box that says Multiple monitors will
display on Monitor 2. Now, since you do not have a Monitor 2 hooked up, you
would not see the slideshow. Change this to Primary monitor and click ok.
Start the show again and let me know if you see the SlideShow now.

For my next trick, I predict .... oh wait, that already happened.

My powerpoint slide show do not start at all. I press the button I hear my
presentation, it looks as it is opening a new window but it stays minimize.

Any help will be good

Did you follow Bill's "psychic" instructions quoted in this message? It
sounds like you have the same problem, and what he suggested should fix
it.
