As Michael said, a little more information will go a long way to solving
your problem.
Now you probably did not know that I used to be a historical psychic in a
past life time, so I'm going to take a shot in the dark about why you are
not seeing the presentation slideshow.
I'm guessing that you are using a laptop. I'm further guessing that if open
PowerPoint and click on 'Slide Show' (menu bar) and select 'Set-up
Slideshow...', you will see a dialog box that says Multiple monitors will
display on Monitor 2. Now, since you do not have a Monitor 2 hooked up, you
would not see the slideshow. Change this to Primary monitor and click ok.
Start the show again and let me know if you see the SlideShow now.
For my next trick, I predict .... oh wait, that already happened.
