In the Dialling Options dialog box, the only button I have to configure is
the "Dialling Properties" button.
When I press that, it brings up "Phone and Modem Options"
What am I supposed to enter there? It has one entry, "Home" when I click
Edit, the country region is set to UK, correct, and the Area Code to 020,
again correct for London. I can't see anything else that I should change.
I haven't had any problems entering the + sign up until now, but for some
reason, Outlook decided that it didn't like the idea and deletes any plus
sign I now try to enter. I really am perplexed.

Can you tell me what you tried?
You reach Outlook's dialing options in Contacts > Actions > Call ContactNew Call...
Is your dialing location set correctly?

Hi Russ, Thanks for your swift reply.
I have tried everything I know, (Which isn't much!) but each thing I
try,
the program still won't allow me to add the plus sign, which I need to
configure numbers for my mobile phone synchronisation software.
If you have any other ideas, I would be delighted to hear from you
again.
Yours, TSM

Have you configured Outlook to add the country code in Dialing
options...?

Whenever I try to modify the telephone numbers of a contact in the
Contacts
folder, Outlook 2003 will not allow a '+' sign to be prefixed to the
numbers
as it did before.
Why is this and is there a fix for it?
Many thanks
