Why does it playback at double speed??

I've imported my video clips but when i play them they are double speed and
when i save to my computer and play it, they are still double speed...

You may have some incompatibility issues
with your source files. Have a look at the

hi john,

thanks, but that i don't think that was the problem - it was a DV - AVI
file. do you think it would have something to do with Long Play vs Short Play
recording and playback when capturing?

we captured it on my friend's computer and now i am editing it on a
different computer. problem there?

i solved it! it was because we captured it as NTSC but this computer was set
to import as PAL
