Matt

My computer keeps freezing but it does it whenever it
seems to feel like it . . . it has a mind of it's own! I
have used one of those pc doctor things to try and
diagnose the problem and it came up with 74 problems.
The most and with the highest priority apparenty stem
from the activex registry. I have only had the computer
for a few months and it just won't stop doing it! And I
don't feel that i should have to pay this company £20
without knowing that they are definatly going to fix the
problem!

Please Help!!!

Who knows what "one of those pc doctor things" means, but apparently you've
got problems that you aren't equipped to handle on your own. Computers can
freeze for any number of reasons. If the computer worked properly when you
first turned it on, then something you've done to it - added or changed
hardware, added or changed software, allowed a virus or other type of
malicious software onto your computer - is likely causing your problem. It's
also possible, but much less likely, that some of the hardware that shipped
with your computer has developed a problem. You won't know until you have it
diagnosed.

Why do you have to pay to have someone look at your computer? If the
computer is only a few months old, it should still be under warranty.

Make sure the processor is being cooled properly and you have a good AC
ground.
