Why does Adobe Acrobat open FrontPage every time?

Since installing FrontPage, every time I open Acrobat Reader, FrontPage goes
through a series of unnecessary installation procedures. Is there an easy
way to prevent this from happening. This is occurring when I use Acrobat
Writer as well, but may be in conjunction with Reader opening.
 
I am having the EXACT same problem but I don't see where anyone ever answered
your question.

It's almost like Frontpage is trying to reinstall itself everytime I try to
open a PDF file. I checked the file preferences and it's set for Adobe to
open all PDF files.

Any suggestions?
