Lately, I've sent a fax ( a signed form ) with a cover page. I went to Fax
console and checked what I had sent. The cover page was correct, but instead
of viewing the signed form, there was a photo of family member that I have
still on my hd. I called the recepient and they said that they did recieve
the signed fomr, so why does my family photo show up instead in Fax console?
First, how do i get rid of this problem and second, how can i view that
second sheet, my signed form. Now, I'm nervous in sending more faxes in the
future. BTW, those pictures are not in the same folder where the fax is
located. In fact, I moved them all over to another folder and tried sending a
fake fax and the same thing occurred. ..a different photo appeared. Someone
please make some sense to this. Thanks

Sounds like you have the wrong file association for TIF files.
What is your set to?

I did a search for Tif files and only one program shows up...IrFanview a small graphic program.

There's your problem, then.
Most often, this problem arises because some other imaging application that
you installed has set itself as the default viewer for TIF files. To view
faxes from the Fax Console, the Windows Imaging and Fax viewer must be your
default viewer for TIF files. You can easily restore that setting in Windows
Explorer > Folder Options. File Types. For most users the command line
should read:

"rundll32.exe <drive>:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1"
