As I said in an earlier question on another topic, I'm not sure I have IE6.
Problem: occasionally, when I try to close one website, a screen pops up
asking "Do You Want to Close All Tabs?" If I answer "yes", all my IE sites
close down, which I do not want. If I answer "no," then I can't get out of
the site I do want to close. Thanks for any help you can offer.

You don't have IE6 if you have tabs. You have IE7.
If you want to close one website, the click on the X on that tab to
close it.

Thanks. Yes, I hae IE7 Service Pk 11. Sorry. Anyway, I can't close
selected websites. The "Close All Tabs" screens pops up on the site I am
visiting and it is the one I wish to close. Bit to do so, I must agree to
Close All TAbs which shuts down all other open websites.

You appear to be clicking on the X on the top right in the main IE
screen.
Each tab has its own X when it is the current site. Click on that X.

Please try the IE7 group next time.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Thanks, I will try that. As for visiting the IE7 group, I can't find one
listed. To the left of this discussion, I see IE everything else, but not 7.
