Matt

This is a question for all the Microsoft Techs.

Can someone tell me why, in the last couple months, i can
find answers for my support issues in the knowledgebase,
but a lot of the little fixes i need (like the NDIS for
2.2Ghz or greater for Windows 98) do i have to now call
microsoft support to get the download? It was sooo much
more convienent to be able to download the file via a
link on the KB document. This is really annoying.
Anyone else feel the same way i do?

I think the reason is that some fixes have not been tested for or are not
appropriate for full deployment. Fixes that are ready for the whole world
are available for download.

Yep, that's it. I had to contact them for a RPC fix, and
I asked the guy, he said the same thing.

thanks
