why do the office programs configure(set up) over and over?

Even though I let Word, Power Point, and Excel configure (set up) the first
time they are launched, they continue to run configure every time they are
launched. They only should do this once. How can I stop this repetitive
behaviour?
 
You may need to be logged onto the computer with Adminstrator priveledges.
