Have a look at the Contacts in the Phone List View and show the First and
Last Name fields. Is there data in them?
Turn on the Advanced Toolbar, change to Phone List view and use the field
chooser to add the fields.
I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

lacking any troubleshooting information here.

Recreating the Contacts record is prohibitive based on the sheer
number
of
them. Can you recommend certain fields to "check" and ensure they're
populated which if they're not could account for the issue? I'm
trying
to
avoid recreating a multitude of records.
:
If you are talking about the Title Bar of an open Contact Record,
that
is
populated programmatically Outlook by using various name elements,
usually
First Name/Last Name or if that is missing, then Company.
If your Title bars are not populating then you did something to
corrupt
the
Contact Record, like importing them. Recreate the Contacts in
question
and
see if it straightens out.

One additional thought...
I noticed the issue after noting a few birthdays under the
"Details"
tab
within the record. It would not list the individual's name on the
reminder
dropped into my calendar. It would only reflect " 's Birthday", ie
absent
of
the individual's name of the record I just flagged for having a
birthday.
:
Office Outlook 2003 - Part of MS Office Professional Edition 2003
"View" - When I double click and open a contact several of them
read
"Untitled - Contact" in the upper corner. I have many that
correctly
reflect
the contact's name ie. "Joe Smith - Contact". I've compared both
types
of
contacts and each has the exact same fields populated within the
contact
record so I'm not able to trace down one particular field as being
absent
of
information.
:
Appear in what view and in what version of Outlook? You've left
us
guessing.

Some of my Contacts appear within Outlook as "Untitled" while
others
appear
correctly with the applicable individual's name listed. I've
compared the
information contained within each record and both have the
exact
same
fields
populated.
