Why do reminders only pop-up for one of my calendars?

I created a second calendar in Outlook for a separate buiness venture. It
seems to work perfectly. However, I only get reminder pop-up boxes for the
original calendar and not the new calendar. How can I get reminders for both
calendars?
 
If it still works the same, the reminders will only work from the calendar
that is associated with the inbox that your mail is delivered to. It's a real
drag.
 
Reminders only fire from default folders, not ones that you create. There
is an add-in, programmed by Microsoft Outlook MVP Ken Slovak, that will
allow you to receive reminders from non-default folders in the same folder
