Why do my hyperlinks copy from one to another?

I am trying to set up my web site for the first time and I am having
difficulty. I know almost nothing about this subject, so all answers need to
be dumbed down for me. I have followed the instructions from a tutorial and
it isn't working. I have typed in information on one page and it copies over
to all the other pages.

Sounds like you are putting info in a Shared Border or a Page Include.

That is what I am doing according to the tutorial instructions. How do I
keep the pages uniform with borders, but get them to have different info on
each page?

You would use FP navigation and banner components

Problem is I can't seem to get the border links to work. I have uninstalled
and installed FP 2003 again this morning and it still isn't working. Is
there any way I can talk to someone on the phone?

Microsoft Product Support...

Re-install is not going to solve the problem.

1. Do you have a web / site open in FP (File Menu | Open Site)
2. Have you applies a theme?
3. Have you created a navigation structure if using the FP navigation components and banner?

Can you publish to internet location and provide a URL so that someone could look at what you are
doing?

I have a web site open in FP, I have applied a theme, I believe I have
created a navigation structure, but the banner file won't work. When I try
to open a picture from file / images there is nothing there. I ahve had to
resort to clip art and no banner. I suppose I could try to publish to an
internet location, but i'm not sure how to do that quite yet. (Haven't gotten
that far in the tutorials). Do I go to Remote Web site at the bottom of the
web site tab and enter my domain name? Or is there another way. I am hosted
by WestHost. Do I need to contact them about getting this out?

You must insert the banner component into the top shared border. If you want use your own banner
image, and have FP add the page title, you must modified the theme to use your image, then save the
theme under a new name, remove the current theme and then apply your newly modified theme.
