Why do I need Paint Shop Pro when I have Frontpage?

I have used Frontpage for a couple of months now. All of the sudden I cannot
use any of my gif or jpg files because I am being told that my trial version
has exceeded. Why would I need more software just to make Frontpage work
correctly? Does this sound right?

You don't need any software (except Windows, of course) to make FrontPage
work correctly. Imaging programs and html programs are two different things.
I'm surprised files you created during a trial period are no longer usable,
but that's between you and the image software provider, not you and FrontPage.

:)

FP is working correctly. It's an HTML authoring system. It creates pages
with HTML markup. FP does not edit graphics.

See the replies to your original post yesterday.

probably has Paint Shop Pro Trial set as default image editor within FP.

I've been using Jasc Paint Shop Pro for years now and couldn't do websites
without. It is wonderful. Definitely purchase the full version.

As an FYI ... Paint Shop Pro is now owned by Corel (makers of CorelDraw).
www.corel.com. They are currently promoting a new release of PSP (vers. 9).

Because you can't edit images in Frontpage! It's a web development tool,
not a image editor.
