I am having a problem using internet explorer with flash , everytime i want
to use the active controls on a flash object on my site i have to click on
the flash object to activate it, then click again to use the controls
embedded in the object. i have tried this at other housholds , and the same
happens, and it works fine in FireFox. is it the way i am exporting the flash
object or is there a general problem with IE. the place it is happening is at
www.ecfm.co.uk

Thanks,
Josh

It's because of a Windows Security Update: KB912812.
Uninstall it from the Software-tab in the Control Panel.
And at the Windows Update website you better disable
this update else it comes back as a automatic update.

Hey guys.

We've developed a solution for this issue that can be applied to a
whole site in a batch process. It's a freeware program you can download
at www.flashrelease.com.

We're preety annoyed with the problem so we decided to make it as easy
as possible for other people to solve it as well.

Please feel free to check it out and I hope it helps.
