I need to copy a table into PowerPoint but when copying it I get strangely
thick lines where I haven´t set them. You can see them in the print preview
as well as in slide show. I cannot get rid of them. I tried everything.
Pasting it using the Smarttag, pasting by selecting "Paste Special" and went
through each option and even linking it . Only difference is that the thick
lines appear at different places but which I don´t want. Is there a way how
to get rid of them?

Nicole,
You did not mention the version you are using. But if it is PowerPoint 2003,
you will get the borders you applied in Excel when you copy paste. If there
are no borders in the Excel cells you will see nothing in PowerPoint. Once
you have pasted the Excel table in, PowerPoint will let you format it as a
table, on the tables and borders toolbar you can apply new lines to the
entire table, choose 1/4 of 1/2 points and apply to all lines. Does that
help?
