Why do I get a message saying "Could not save item" in Calendar?

When I try to insert a new appointment in Calendar I get a message saying
"Could not save item". I can't find anything in the Help section about this
- does anyone know why this occurs and what I can do about it? Thanks!
 
same here. there were no changes as far as I can tell to the workstation.
there may have been applicable changes to the exchange store, incorporated
from AD. still troubleshooting, anyone with any insight?
 
I, too, in the past two days have started receiving the message "Could not
save item" when I attempt to add an appointment item to my calendar. Please
help.

We'll need more insformation, like your Outlook version, what type of
account, and what your using as a delivery location.
