Hi.......I'm confused! Should I believe that Epson would do such a
thing? Is this a scheme to sell more cartridges? Is this just a
fault design? And using the Restters can be risky! Wow!

Someone please give me an answer that is not so darned discouraging!
And I have an extra 2 year vendow warranty before I can use generic
ink or resetters!

Micheal,
I agree that one should NOT reset the cartridge on an Epson printer to
get the last bit of ink out of the cartridge. You risk clogging the print
head or setting up a vacuum so the next cartridge won't print and your
printer would be useless. But, I also would NOT use generic inks. I would
suggest using an ink specifically designed for your printer albeit a
completive ink. Generic inks are usually made as "One size fits all", which
is very chancy.
Good Luck.

You can cheerfully use good compatibles such as the JetTec below and join
the many 1000,s who save safely. The better cartridges do not affect your
warranty.

even burn the head for an expensive replacement. Better change the cartridge
with a little ink left than be sorry.

I would never use a "one size fits none" ink. You must use one that is
specially formulated for the printer. There are several ink vendors whom
sell mostly from the same ink manufacturers. These inks are virtually
identical to the OEM inks in every respect. Find a vendor with a solid
reputation and you will be safe.
