Why display old messages not up-to-date latest msgs

Both Firefox & IE initially show msgs dated 2010 but if I do a search all the
2010 msgs disppear and I am looking through 2009, 2008 and earlier msgs.
Which is wrong because I posted 2010 msgs

Where are you seeing these messages? If it is in a web-based newsreader, the
error is likely to be with the web site, not with your browser.
