why can't I send from outlook with Adelphia address?

Since the merger of Adelphia/Time Warner/ -about 3 weeks- I have been unable
to send messages using my Adelphia address at Outlook Express. The problem
included only a specific email address yesterday but now I can still receive
but not send to anyone from there. Adelphia/ Time Warner insists it is an
Outlook Express problem and directed me to micosoft.com. I receive an error
message # 550 each time I try to send mail from my Adelphia email address at
Outlook but do not see the specific problem or solution listed at microsoft.
Do you think my problem lies with Adelphia/ Time Warner or Outlook Express?

Hi - unfortunately, you're in the wrong newsgroup. This is a group to
support Microsoft Outlook (part of Microsoft Office). Outlook Express is a
part of Internet Explorer and is an entirely different program, despite its
similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
Outlook Express news group. Try
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

If this group isn't carried on the news server that's carrying this group,
try using news.microsoft.com as your NNTP server.

A good website for information on OE is http://www.insideoe.com/

That said - if you want to rule out the client itself you might try a test
at www.mail2web.com ...or another SMTP server in your mail account settings.
