why can't I send emails with attatchments?

I have upgraded to office 2007. When I send e-mails with attatchements, they
are not being received by receipients - but it still says that the e-mails
have been sent in the sent box? - any ideas?

I can receive attatchements.

Do you mean that your recipients are not getting the email AT ALL, or are
they getting the email but with no attachment?
