I dunno, i haven't been able to see any of the images on HardOCP. I did some
searching around on the internet and i couldn't find anything. I have the
SP2 installed on this machine and so does my dad's machine. I can see the
stuff on his computer but i cant see it on this one.

Most of the contents of this page are from Don Varnau and Mike Burgess

There are many possible causes and solutions.
Try the quick, easy fix first. Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet
Options> General> Delete files and Delete offline content. Reset the TIF
folder size to about 50MB (Settings button) and clear it occasionally.

Additional information from Mike Burgess:

Are you using a Firewall or "filtering software"?

Several of these are known to cause problems:
1) Zone Alarm Pro [Private Header Info - enabled?]
Reset "Ad Blocking" and "Cookie Control" to "medium"
"Mobile Code Control" = Off

2) Symantec (ISS\NIS)[Enable Browser Privacy - enabled]
Active Content - "Allow All Script To Execute"
Problem: some sites cannot detect the 128 bit encryption
Solution: Completely remove and reinstall NIS.

3) Any "ad blocking" software that blocks "http_referrer"
or contains entries that are blocking access to the desired site.

4) HOSTS file that contains entries that are blocking access to the desired
site.

5) Cookie blocking software that are blocking "required" Cookies.

6) Pop-up blockers that are stripping header\url info.

7) WebWasher Standard Filter/URL Filter

8) Make sure the following registry entry is not corrupt:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings]
"User Agent"="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Win32)"

Note: "Win32" = Windows 98\ME
Other versions = (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0;)

To check your "User Agent":
Paste the below into the Address Bar and view the output:

javascript:navigator.userAgent

[Example WinME output]
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90)

basically what i see is when i load up this site is the text
but there is no pictures. The pictures of the RAM is nowhere
to be seen and there is nothing that shows that it was ever
there? Anybody got any ideas?

Are you blocking Cookies? Privacy Report shows that several
of the images on that page require Cookies. (Alt-V,v)

Turn off Show Pictures. Make sure you have Show image download
placeholders turned on. Reload the page offline. E.g. Alt-F,W Ctrl-N
Do you see placeholders? Right-click, Properties and copy the
Address (URL) of the placeholder for any image you couldn't see.
(Tip: doubleclick anywhere in the URL and press Ctrl-a, Ctrl-c.)
Paste the copied URL into the Address bar of another IE window
and see if that image was cached.

Check your Encoding (Alt-V,d). I have Auto-Select picking
Western European (ISO) which makes sense because the source
head section contains

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

What are your languages settings? Go here to see them:

If you still need help report your observations from these diagnostics.

I saved the page and uploaded it offline, there was no picture, i uploaded
the same webpage that i saved from my dad's comp and i got the pictures. My
language is en-us. I put cookies on the lowest setting and it still won't
come up. Any other thoughts?

Try comparing the two source files. If they aren't the same
it means that you have something interfering with the source stream.
It could be a misconfigured security program (e.g. "parental control")
or an ad blocker that you could try disabling, etc.

Good luck.

Did you ever solve this? I have the same exact problem. I wonder if it has
anything to do with a recent Microsoft patch.
