hi, i remember that i used to be able to print multiple slides on one page
without having gaps in between the slides. I think i did that by choosing
print slides, and 4 or 6 slides to a page. but now it seems like you can only
print 1 on a page if u choose to print slides, and the only way to print
multiple slides is by choosing handout printing, which leaves gaps between
the slides. the gaps make the slides smaller and harder to read, so is there
a way to print witout the gaps?

There are a few ways to do what you want, but it is not a native function.

Look at:
http://skp.mvps.org/how/

or see if your printer has multiple page tiling abilities

or Export to Word and rework the images there.
