Colleagues have been sending me Word documents which purvey through
Firefox and Eudora as wnmailnn.dat files which I cannot open with Word
(as hey are sworn to be) or any other application.

On my complaint, they have been translating said documents into PDFs,
but I hate to be a pain in this matter.

I think it has to do either with my Eudora settings, or a Eudora bug, or
Firefox quirk. I looked inside the Word translations available and none
had any resemblance to reality.

Microsoft has something going on that I am not privy to.

Any Clues?

You already asked this identical question and got good answers. Didn't you
see them? Tell your colleagues to change their Outlook send mail settings
from Rich Text format to either plain text or html.

It's not Firefox, Eudora, or Microsoft. It's that Outlook uses an
incompatible Rich Text format. There's no reason to send in Rich Text
anyway. So talk to the people who are sending you the mail and if they
can't figure out how to make the change, have them ask their IT people.
