Why can't I open appointments or set new ones in outlook 2003?

Good day all,

I am having difficulty adding new appointments locally in Outlook 2003. The
problem is new and intermitent.

I can access my calendar and make amendments on our server via webmail.

I can also amend things when I access my calendar as a "shared calendar"
from someone elses PC.

When I right click and hit open or use the "new appointment" button, nothing
happens!

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

What troubleshooting have you already done? Detect and Repair? Scanpst.exe?
Shut down and restarted Outlook?
