Why cant I link existing email?

I have installed the latest update and service pack for BCM but auto linking
does not work. I am able to select the contact and mail folders and it runs
through the folder fine, but when I check the contact to see if it linked the
emails, none of them appear. I am able to link email one at a time, but this
is not a practical solution. Any advice?
 
I am unable to determine from your message if you ran the "Manage Email Auto
Linking" under the Business Tools Menu. Have you?

Can you try creating a new data base and check if the issue occurs also what
is the nature of the account that you use is it Pop ?

Yes, I use POP3 mail. I created a new database and entered in a test
contact and BCM search and link worked fine on this new database, so I assume
the problem is in my existing database. What is the best course of action?

Hi Hunter

Thanks for the update since you stated that the option worked in the new
database,i would suggest that migrate the data from the old database as a
*.bcm
file.
