Why can't I insert multiple files into an open document?

I need to insert multiple files into a document, without having to open the
insert file dialog to insert each file.

I have 20 files that I would like to insert into a document. I know that you
can insert multiple file in a document in word, but it doesn't seem to be the
same in frontpage.

Does anybody know of a workaround?
 
What kind of files into what kind of document?
Do you mean onto a webpage?

What kind of files are you trying to insert? .pdf files cannot be
inserted, whereas .gif, among others, can.
