Why can't I get my calendar to display?

Whenever I open up my calendar (by clicking "Calendar" on the navigation
menu), it goes to a listing of all my appointments, holidays, etc. and it
does not show the regular calendar. I did a search for an appointment on my
calendar and it has been liked this ever since.

Right click in the toolbar area and select customize. Then select to show
the advanced toolbar. On this toolbar, use the dropdown to display your
day/week/month view.
