Why can't I advance slideshows in Powerpoint 2003?

I keep getting the following error message:

"Powerpoint couldn't create a hyperlink to ^0"

As far as I can tell, there are not any hyperlinks in the presentations, so
what is this message about? I've tried it with several presentations, and I
keep getting this message so I think it is a program issue. I'm not that
familiar with this program so have no idea how to fix this. Please help

Please tell us your PowerPoint / Windows version,
whether you are using vba, whether
your cows are in the corn paddock, or
anything else relevant.
 
I am having the same problem and saw this message and tried the
link you gave but I get this Message:
The Knowledge Base (KB) Article You Requested Is Currently Not Available

Try the 2003 link instead of the others.
