I am trying to update my website from Frontpage - it has forms in it - but
cannot get in - I can get in using CoreFTP lite. I know that the user and
password are correct. HELP! what could it be?

Could be that CoreFTP trashed the FP extensions or you're not using the
correct un/pw.

Thanks for your input, Crash. I am using godaddy as my host, and went through
the process of removing and reinstalling front page extensions. also, godaddy
recognises my un/pw - so thats not it. Any other ideas??

Godaddy is not the sharpest with FP extensions.
Your FTP password may not be the same as your http password.
What's the URL for the site?
And exactly how are you trying to update?

Are you sure you are using the correct address? - http://.............
That would be different from the address used with FTP.

Hello Crash:

My URL is www.marishka.ca - the forms are now all asking my potential
customers to provide a password. I think I trashed it inadvertantly using
dreamweaver.
I am trying to access it from frontpage in an attempt to fix the forms,
which were written in frontpage.
I appreciate your thoughts!

Michael

Navigating your site...sheesh...anyway, I couldn't find the form.

mmmm - difficulty navigating the site - needs simplification - but can't
get in to change it! - thats the problem -anyway Marishka - numerology -
enter -readings available - any report by email. That's what doesn't work.

Thanks for taking the time to humour me!

I finally found it...the form is broken...did you use FTP to try to fix it
it with DW? if you did that broke the FP extensions and is probably why you
can't get back there. Once you get your FP extensions repaired don't use
ftp.
