In Word 97, if you select a table and press delete, the contents of the
table are deleted, but not the table itself. In order to delete the
table itself, the Cut command must be used. What is the reason for
this?
Maybe I've answered my own question. The purpose is to have two
distinct commands, one to delete the contents, the other to delete (or
rather cut) the table.
Just out of curiousity, is it possible to delete rather than cut a
table?
