Help requested.

Burning software may lock the drive so you cannot open the door
mid-burn. Nero does this, and I suspect ImgBurn is as well. When
you're using ImgBurn, it completes normally? When you exit ImgBurn does
it leave peacefully *and* disappear from the Process/Application lists?
The eject button still does not work?

If you've answered "yes" to all of these questions, I suspect there is
some sort of bug in ImgBurn. In that case, contacting the manufacturer
would be worth an attempt.

Why after using ImgBum? I have never used ImgBum to know anything about
it, but just from the information you give here I would guess that it's
possible that ImgBum hang right after done burning.

Me, I would stop by the author's site to learn if there is any bug
reported, newer version with bug fixed, and probably GOOGLE for more
information. And probably stop using ImgBum until they have bug fixed.

Here is a procedure that sometimes works to "unlock" the eject button with
out requiring you to boot the machine. You may need to shut down the CD
burner program first.

1) Go to "My Computer".
2) Right click on the drive in question.
3) Scroll down and choose "Eject", even if no disk is in the drive.

With a little luck your drive eject button is once again working for you.
