why can i not connect on my user account?

When my husband connects to the internet on his user account on windows xp
the internet connects, if i try to switch to my account it disconnects and
when i try to reconnect it tells me username and password are not verified in
that domain. We use wanadoo broadband and i have to keep using my husbands
account which is really annoying! Please is there anyone who can help
