Why are there duplicates of attendees in meeting schedules?

Several of the users that I support have been getting instances of duplicate
attendees in meeting requests. All of these users have Blackberrys and all
operate there Outlook in cached exchange mode. I have used the cleanfreebusy
switch to no availe. Does any one have any ideas of what else I can try?
 
I am having the same or similar problem. I create an appointment (Outlook
2003 client and Exchange backend) and invite others. When some of the others
respond (those on my Exchange system and those who are not in the
organization at all), the Outlook meeting simply indicates that they
accepted. For others (who are not in our same Forest, did I say that
right??) when they accept, their name now shows three times - the original
one and two duplicates that get generated upon their acceptance. If I update
the meeting and send out an update notice, their acceptance generates their
name another 2 times in my invitees list. It's getting out of control!! Can
anyone help??! Please?
