Why are the names missing from my contacts address cards?

None of the names of my contacts are showing up on the address cards view,
but they are there if I double click on a contact, just as they should be...
Why aren't they showing up in the main contacts window? They will show up
if I use the phone list view for my contacts, and some of the other views,
but not the address or detailed address cards views.
Thanks.

My Outlook Address Book is already listed as an address book, and my Contacts
folder is already selected to be used as an email address book. My Contact
names still do not appear in the grey bars when in the address cards view of
my contacts...they are just blank grey bars over all the names, all except
one, for some reason. I recently updated to Office 2003 Standard Edition,
but have been using this program without this problem since then...I am
curious if it had to do with some sort of synchronization error with my Palm
Tungsten E2. I had a duplication of many contact and calendar entries after
synchronizing, and I have deleted some of the duplications...not sure if that
helps...Thanks!

Then examine the File As... fields in the Contact Record of these Contacts.
That's what appears at the top of each entry in Address Card view. Yours
appear to be corrupt.

The info in all of the "file as" fields for my contacts seems to be normal.
There is a first and last name in each contacts' "file as" fields...though I
agree, somthing seems corrupt...

Create a New Contact from scratch.
Does it appear normally?

No, a new Contact created from Scratch does not appear correctly either.

Yes! that worked...eventually...I reset the current view, then I still had to
add "Full Name" to the Fields list.
Thanks!
