Why are offline file questions always ignored?

Yes they are. Just scroll down and look at the last 3 months. It is as
always. The search link doesn't make your point. It also doesn't show how
extremely difficult or impossible offline file problems are to resolve -
alone. My question was basic and simple (why I dared to post it) though to
make your point (whatever it is), you will probably ignore it. I am not
bothering to raise much more difficult offline related questions. I've just
resigned to the freakish behavior. Every time I come here to post an
offline question, I scroll down, notice the continued trend of unanswered
questions and move on.

My point is that there are questions and answers in reference to Offline
folders - making your 'Why are offline file questions always ignored?' query
false. Ignored always would imply no answers to such questions at all,
ever - untrue.

Why are there not as many as other questions and/or not answered by a
majority of the frequent-responders of these groups? Probably because most
people have discovered the feature usually does not function with any manner
of consistency that would deserve further use and better products/methods
exist. ie: More trouble than they are worth.

Windows Vista now calls them Offline Files now - and they say they have
fixed some of the issues that have plagued Offline Folder users since
Windows 2000...

It's worked for you all this time... Great! I didn't say it did not work -
I said with consistency. And things that do not work with consistency do
not get pushed by the people who might answer questions here the majority of
the time (volunteers who have extensive knowledge on one or more Microsoft
products/general computer usage.)

*not ignored*

As a long time newsgroupee, they look ignored to me. The question below is
really basic but has a usual response. Surely someone who uses offline
folders has had a drive failure and wondered the same thing.

Likely - but obviously they do not frequent these newsgroups...
