Hi,
I have 2 servers hosting 2 installations of the same website. Using
iis, asp.net. The login page contains javascript that redirects users
to an error page if cookies are not allowed. The first website works
fine, but the second works in firefox but in ie6 the cookies are
blocked and the user is redirected to the error page. The privacy
report says that "Based on your privacy settings some cookies were
restricted or blocked, and clasifies the site as "restricted", though
if I look at the restricted websites under the Privacy tab of Internet
Options the site is not there. Changing ie security settings (making
security low, allowing all cookies from all sites, adding the site to
trusted sites) has no effect. The sites do not use p3p. I've compared
the http headers coming from the 2 servers and they were identical
except for the urls.
Does someone have any idea why this could be happening? Any input
greatly appriciated!
