Why are meeting requests being created as recurring automatically

I have a user with a problem that when they are creating a meeting it is
being created as a recurring meeting automatically.

They assure me they are not visiting the recurrence option during the setup.

I'll bet they have a Dell. Uninstall the Outlookaddinsetup program from
Cyberlink, part of Media Direct.
