why are deleted emails keep returning in duplicat

In resetting my Outlook I have thousands of my old mails comming back from
over 1 year ago and my outgoing mail is stuck in the outbox. How can I
correct this

Perhaps Outlook email was configured to keep a copy of messages on the
server. When you reset Outlook, it then started downloading any message
not present in the client.

You should try email questions on microsoft.public.outlook. BCM doesn't
manage email.
