I am from Shanghai. I encountered a serious problem recently. There are 16
computers on my company. Windows 2000 server has been installed on the
server. The accounts are usually locked when I log in on the computer
installed windows me, but no problem through windows 2000 pro. Why?

You might have your account lockout threshold set too low. Set it to at least ten if
not higher assuming you are using at least halfway good passwords. Enabling auditing
of logon events on your domain controller may help you track down the problem by
viewing the failed logon attempts in the security log in Event Viewer. --- Steve
