whole screen & resolution

I have the same problem as Maxin (dated 4/21). How can I find out if I'm also using nVIDIA? Or, how can I find the function key combination that allows me to view 3d graphics at full screen?.

Check http://windows.dasmirnov.net/guides/hardware.php to check what
graphics card you've got.

Most games have a switch in settings to toggle fullscreen. Some use
ALT+RETURN to toggle in real-time. But it depends on the game.

I can't find the original thread. What exactly was the problem?

the original thread was dated 4/21. My game is Scrabble. I called their help line and was informed the game runs at 800x600 and cannot be changed. My laptop screen resolution is 1400 x 1050. If I lower the resolution of my screen it only reduces the size of the desktop and the size of the game. The view of game is about 5"x7" on my screen. I want to have the game play at full screen. I've tried all the combinations of compatibility settings and it makes no difference. The game was just purchased and is xp compatiable. The referenced discussion thread was regarding the same problem, but with different games. Jimmy S advised the user to "look for the function key combination that allows you to view 3D graphics at full screen instead of windowed mode" The user responded that her laptop was using nVIDIA. When she went to the settings for digital flat panal options within that sofware, there was an option that allowed Display Adapter scalling. She was able to get a larger screen size for the lower resolution game. I'm trying to find out if I can somehow get my game to play at full screen
